Richard Cornett
As the former Ohio Optometric Association Executive Director, Rick Cornett has served the optometric profession for many years. Highly regarded by friends and industry foes alike, his knowledge and passion for the eye care profession is without equal. Rick brings with him over 40 years of experience working and developing relationships with insurance companies, medical groups, legislative representatives, governing bodies, and eye care providers.
Rod Snow, O.D.
Dr. Snow is a 1980 graduate of The Ohio State University College of Optometry. Dr. Snow has a special interest in working with hard-to-fit contact lens cases and the special vision needs of children. His research into the relationship between juvenile delinquency and vision disorders was published in the Journal of the American Optometric Association. In addition to private practice, Dr. Snow also served as Director of Optometry Services for HMO Health Ohio for 11 years. He was past President of Summit Eyecare Network, LTD; a network of over 200 private practice optometrists throughout Ohio. He is a past committee chairperson and Distinguished Service Award recipient from the Ohio Optometric Association, a past president of the Summit County Optometric Society and a past board member of the Akron Jaycees.
Ronald F. Cooke, O.D.
Dr. Ronald F. Cooke is a 1969 graduate of The Ohio State University College of Optometry. He also holds a B.A. in chemistry from the University of Louisville, and he completed postgraduate studies in diagnostic and therapeutic ocular pharmacology through the Pennsylvania College of Optometry. Dr. Cooke practiced optometry from 1969 through 2005 as a founder and senior optometric partner in OptiCare Vision Centers, a multi-location, multi-practitioner practice with offices in Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky. Dr. Cooke’s emphasis in practice was on contact lenses. He is a past president of the Cincinnati Optometric Association, the Cincinnati Optometric Center, and the Vision League of Ohio. He remains active in the Cincinnati business community and is the President and CEO and a founding member of Diversified Ophthalmics Inc., and it’s sister companies including Kansas City based Firestone Optics, and Memphis based MidSouth Ophthalmics. Diversified’s family of ophthalmic companies span coast to coast and from Wisconsin to Texas serving eye care providers from all 50 states.
George V. Landon, O.D.
Dr. George V. Landon earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Physiology Optics, as well as his Doctorate of Optometry from The Ohio State University. Dr. Landon partnered with Dr. Ronald Cooke in practice after graduation and was a co-founder of Diversified Ophthalmics, Inc. and Opticare Vision Centers.  Dr. Landon’s daughter, Dr. Lora Landon Ledford, is a principal and a practitioner in the Opticare offices. Dr. Landon has served as a contact lens and general practice consultant for Diversified Ophthalmics since 1994. He is a life member of the American Optometric Association, the Ohio Optometric Association and the Cincinnati Optometric Association. Dr. Landon stays active in optometry as an optometric practice consultant at Diversified.  His main emphasis is on helping and growing the independent eye care providers. He also serves on the Board of directors of the ECP Network.
James Scholles, O.D., J.D.
Dr. James R. Scholles is a practicing optometrist and attorney. He is a Past President of the American Optometric Association. He is an expert in the clinical-legal area and frequently counsels practitioners in practice partnerships, practice sales, and professional liability issues.
